Meet the Founder

My name is Jocelyn A. Walker, founder of The Heart of His People. I know firsthand that good people can make bad choices, but I also know that God’s grace is greater than any mistake. My journey taught me that everyone deserves hope, support, and a second chance.

That’s why I created The Heart of His People—to serve those who are often forgotten, including the homeless, struggling families, and individuals working to rebuild their lives. My mission is simple: to love people where they are, help them get where they’re going, and remind them that while people may count them out, God will always count them in.
